Submission Calls

The editors of the Beloit Poetry Journal welcome submissions for the 2020 Summer Open Reading Period, which runs from June 1 through August 31.

We seek unpublished poems and translations of poems not already available in English. We’re open to a wide range of forms and styles and are always watching for urgent voices, quickened language, and work that offers a fresh purchase on the political or social landscape.
